Sapporo Clock Tower - Tokeidai
Travel Update: Most destinations are open — check the official websites and read our crucial BEST TIME tips below to help you AVOID CROWDS (Travel with at least 15% off | booking.com)
It's a great year-round place, especially for photographers. However, it's a tourist trap and usually busy with many people gathering outside. To beat the crowds avoid weekends and be there in the morning. Also consider visiting at night: Everything is calmer and the tower is nicely illuminated. Check the sunset times here: http://www.timeanddate.com/sun/j...
If you'd like to get inside the museum, you have to get there during the day as it closes at 5:10 PM.
It's also great for photos in winter. Although it can get quite cold. Check monthly weather here: http://www.worldweatheronline.co...
This is the oldest building standing in Sapporo. Originally, this was build in 1878 as the drill hall of the former Sapporo Agricultural College (now Hokkaido University).
The place of this building is the very central part of the city center of Sapporo. It's a 10-minute walk south of Sapporo Station and close to the city’s landmark TV Tower. Many visitors come here. You can enjoy to visit at any season.
I like the building's atmosphere.
