When Is the Best Time 

Every year from April 1 until April 30 depending on the weather. General peak is end of the 1st week of April to the 2nd week of April. Some areas usually peak slightly ahead of others.

Ennis Texas - Bluebonnet

These trails are the oldest such bluebonnet known in the state. Most visitors are just overwhelmed by the beauty of the wildflower show.

Top Tips Before You Visit:

  • Try to be there in April during peak days (see above)
  • Use the mobile app to find the prime bloom locations since they are spread out over many miles
  • Use your GPS
  • Refuel before you go if you're planning to visit more than one location
