The dry deciduous forest is absolutely worth to visit. It is privately managed and not a National Park, the reason that night walks are allowed.

All animals are active at the beginning of the rainy season in December.
The dry season last from April to November. Often Kirindy is not accessible from January to end of March. In October you may see baby lemurs. There are fewer midges at the end of the dry season.
