To get to El Mirlo Beach and Restaurant follow the sign to Punta Paloma. First, you pass the huge dune of Valdevaquevos and then a military zone.
This marvelous beach is still a hidden gem and mostly the Spanish visit it. Due to the limited parking and accessibility, it can’t get crowded.
Between high- and low tide you can swim in the lagoon. At high tide, the beach is small, and at low tide, the lagoon disappears.
These are the highest dunes in the world. From the entrance of the park, it is a 60 km drive on a paved road to Sossusvlei. The best light is in the morning and it's less crowded.
At sunrise - Best in winter (May to September)
